Ibrahim Ozgenc ’20, a biochemistry and molecular biology major at Clark University, spent the summer of 2019 as an Englander Institute for Precision Medicine intern working on cutting-edge cancer research under Ex Vivo Model’s Director Laura Martin, Ph.D.
Ibrahim tested various individualized drug treatment options on tumor organoids, which he grew from patient-derived tissue.
