The Oncomine Comprehensive Panel (OCP) 150 Gene Panel

We’ve joined the Developer’s Network established by the Oncomine Comprehensive Panel vendor, Thermo-Fisher Scientific, allowing special access to reagents, instrument and support.  The panel uses both DNA and RNA as input material and yields 73 genes (hotspots), 26 full genes, 49 genes for copy number variation, and 22 fusion driver genes.  The OCP was developed in the Englander Institute’s CLIA laboratory using the Ion S5XL instrument and the automated Ion Chef.  The NCI MATCH sites are currently switching over to the S5XL instrument to run the Oncomine Comprehensive Panel.  The Oncomine test is under development and will be coming soon.
