André is a Computational Biologist with a background in Developmental and Molecular Biology. He obtained a PhD at the Research Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences where he worked on the development of methods for epigenetic and single-cell analysis and their application to leukemia.
As a Postdoctoral Associate at the Englander Institute for Precision Medicine, he develop methods for the analysis of multiplexed imaging data, with a particular interest in the unsupervised detection and characterization of principles of tissue organization and its application to cancer with the goal of discovering markers of cancer invasive potential, and development of better patient stratification strategies.
