Eti is a first year Ph.D. student in the Biomedical Engineering program at Cornell University. She completed her bachelor’s in Bioengineering at UC San Diego. She is interested in the intersection of big data and medicine to improve precision medicine approaches and clinical outcomes. Eti works with Dr. Oliver Elemento to elucidate the connections between clonal hematopoiesis and solid tumors. She is analyzing somatic variants in the blood through whole exome sequencing.
