Kentaro Ohara

I am a surgical pathologist with subspecialty interest in neuropathology. I completed my pathology residency training at Keio University School of Medicine, where I earned my Ph.D. in cancer epigenetics and had been working as a physician-scientist. I was also engaged in molecular pathology and research activities in the field of brain tumors. My research interest is to elucidate the impact of tumor heterogeneity on cancer progression and to identify cancer biomarkers for effective prevention by integrating histopathological information and omics data of tumor samples.
