Neel S. Madhukar received his Ph.D. working in the lab of Dr. Olivier Elemento using Big Data analytics and machine learning to help answer questions about cancer systems biology and how we can improve precision patient care.
Some of his projects included: using an integrative data platform to create an in-silico drug target prediction engine to expedite the drug discovery process, developing machine learning methods to predict drug adverse events and efficacies, and using cancer mutation and expression data to help design patient-specific cancer treatments. In addition, he was honored as one of Forbes “30 under 30” in healthcare based on my research as part of the Elemento Lab along with Kaitlyn Gayvert.
