Olivia Baldanza is the Laboratory Administrative Assistant at the Englander Institute for Precision Medicine.

In their college career, Ms. Baldanza became fascinated with the study of the mind and the research that propelled the discoveries. She became interested in cognitive studies and neuroanatomy and took many classes to learn more about the field. Ms. Baldanza decided to try to get involved with research on campus and worked in a physical therapy lab learning about physical interventions to treat abnormal muscular developments in children with autism.

Graduating soon after the pandemic began, Ms. Baldanza began a role with BioIVT working as a Clinical Operations Coordinator. They managed the distribution of thousands of samples and shipments to hundreds of pharmaceutical companies, universities, and other research institutions. Their career there further solidified their desire to be in the research field as well as strengthened their abilities in lab and project management, and domestic and international teamwork.

Now, she works with Weill Cornell Medicine to help better manage the laboratory working as an organizational and innovative support for the research that goes on in the Physiology and Biophysics department.

Olivia Baldanza graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience.
