Pashtoon Kasi, M.D. is the EIPM Director for Liquid Biopsy Research

Dr. Kasi joined the Englander Institute as Director for Liquid Biopsy Research. Dr. Kasi is an oncologist and researcher at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital where he focuses on treating patients with gastrointestinal cancers and in the treatment of patients with novel drugs/early-phase clinical trials. He also serves as the Director for Colorectal Cancer Research at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Kasi’s research focus has been on “liquid biopsies”, spanning both circulating tumor DNA and circulating tumor cells, while simultaneously developing and conducting clinical trials focused on precision oncology and precision medicine. Additionally, Dr. Kasi has been active as a principal investigator on numerous investigator-initiated, industry-sponsored as well as cooperative group clinical trials in oncology.
