Roberto De Gregorio, Ph.D., is an EIPM Senior Research Scientist who collaborates with the WCM Epigenomics Core in the establishment, testing, and implementation of new spatial transcriptomic platforms for the EIPM and the entire WCM community. Additionally, he provides scientific support to researchers interested in working with spatial biology technologies. Dr. De Gregorio is actively involved in both the organizational and executive phases of the Spatial Atlas of Human Anatomy (SAHA) program, a collaboration between the EIPM, the WCM Department of Pathology, the WorldQuant Initiative, and Nanostring.

Dr. De Gregorio is a Molecular Biologist with extensive research experience in the field of Developmental Neuroscience. He obtained his M.Sc. in Molecular Biology from the University of Naples “Federico II,” Italy, and his Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biotechnologies from the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli,” Italy. Prior to joining EIPM, Dr. De Gregorio was a Faculty Research Associate at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
